Step 7 Journaling/Reflection Exercise

Adapted from the EDA Step Workbook
Make a grid with two columns. In the first column list any perceived shortcomings, area of shame, or other thoughts/behaviors you want to move away from – focusing especially on any patterns that keep you stuck in your eating disorder.

Next to each, in the second column, list how willing you are to have that issue removed or changed: 1) Already removed 2) Absolutely willing 3) Almost willing 4) I need more time 5) Never.

Did you give anything on your list a 5? For anything you gave a 4 or a 5, what would need to change for you to be willing? Can you think of any actions you could take that might move you closer towards being willing?
